It’s Friday… time to highlight those who are f*ⓒking it up in their fields! 🎉

Darrell Jimerson is dominating the tech industry with his media production skills. Graduating from Texas State University with a degree in Applied Sociology, he is using his talents to benefit the Houston community. He serves as Board Operator for iHeartMedia, monitoring audio quality and regulating program timing, all while producing music on a freelance basis.

Darrell may be behind the scenes, but he is achieving new heights every day. For example, he created the videos for our Q3 Town Hall and Friendsgiving events–including the music! 🎶

Today’s #TUSReminder might seem like a no-brainer, but a good reminder goes a long way: educate yourself on financial matters! 💡

We can’t all be professional financial experts, but we can do our best to make sure we understand all the information in front of us. According to Wale Ogunleye, Head of Sports and Entertainment at UBS, this starts with being unafraid to ask questions or admit that you need to step back and do more research. Y'all remember the "Find Your Financial Friends" breakfast we had with @amegybank earlier this year?! The point was to have a transparent conversation about finances so that we can feel comfortable asking the questions that are going to get us to a place where we can communicate each of our financial needs.

Here’s the goal for today: start taking the steps you need to get educated on the money stuff and get you to "the bag." Make a trustworthy connection with someone who can help you figure it all out. And if you need to take a minute to do more research–do it!

We're halfway through December y'all - can you believe it? 🙌🏾

We're slowing down a bit here for the holidays, but don't get us wrong, we're still doing the work! This past week, The Us Space was invited to be a part of the Future Founders Club Holiday Toast & Tour Party! Not only did we turn up, but we had a great time building #partnerships and networking! We love meeting new friends and building connections everywhere we go!

TUS knows the holidays are a time to give back, and we had an amazing time with some amazing Houston kids at the Ice Skating with JOY event! We of course went ice skating, met Santa, and had ALL the fun, y'all!

2023 is getting closer! As we look to next year, we cannot wait to continue utilizing our space for #programming and to watch our friends reach #prosperity!
